The Law Society is offering a free half-day seminar program in Sydney on 13 March 2012, to assist you to meet your MCLE obligations.
The program. which is being held in conjunction with the City of Sydney Law Society, comprises two 2-hour modules which will run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
A minimum number of 30 registrations is required for the program to proceed.

These workshops will help you to recognise and understand the pressures of practice that can lead to poor mental health, poor decisions and poor outcomes.
You will come away with a toolkit of strategies, including case studies, information and resources.
Module 3 includes:
- Identifying how we respond to stress in the workplace and the effects of poor responses
- Insight into a range of positive and practical strategies to help you manage workplace situations and the pressures of practice
- Initiatives to develop a more effective work environment.
Module 4 will:
- give you formal and informal practices and strategies to minimise avoidance
- improve your awareness of emotive behaviours in the workplace
- provide insight into how your mind works so that you can respond authentically and usefully when confronted with situations which challenge or confound.
Cost: The seminar program is free. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
