To assist solicitors to meet their MCLE obligations the Law Society is offering a free 1-day seminar program in Broken Hill on Monday 18 June 2012.
The program is being held in co-ordination with the Far West Law Society and will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
This workshop will help you to recognise and understand the pressures of practice that can lead to poor mental health, poor decisions and poor outcomes.
You will come away with a toolkit of strategies, including case studies, information and resources, to assist you.
- Seminar 1 deals with the nature of the law and its stressors
- Seminar 2 deals with unhelpful behaviours of clients and colleagues
- Seminar 3 covers workload and vicarious trauma
- Seminar 4 covers understanding, preventing and responding
- Seminar 5 provides strategies to help you stay well at work.
