The Law Society is offering a free one-day seminar program in Parramatta, on Tuesday 18 September 2012, to assist you to meet your MCLE obligations.
The program, which is being held in co-ordination with the Parramatta & District Law Society, will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
These workshops will help you to recognise and understand the pressures of practice that can lead to poor mental health, poor decisions and poor outcomes.
You will come away with a toolkit of strategies, including case studies, information and resources, to assist you.
- Seminar 1 deals with the nature of the law and its stressors
- Seminar 2 deals with unhelpful behaviours of clients and colleagues
- Seminar 3 covers workload and vicarious trauma
- Seminar 4 covers understanding, preventing and responding
