This one day course covers all basic aspects of general customer service in the legal environment for legal support staff working in a medium to large law firm.
Topics covered include:
Understanding the NSW legal structure
Networking with other firms
Working with barristers
Prioritising workload and stress management
Confidentiality
Dealing with difficult clients
Office skills, telephone techniques, email etiquette
This course is open to all legal support staff and is most appropriate for junior level support staff.

- This course is restricted to applicants currently working in or returning to a legal department or firm
- Any applicant that does not meet program criteria, please forward a supporting letter outlining why you may be eligible for enrolment, addressing special circumstances such as details of a solicitor willing to mentor you, or appropriate previous work/study experience
