Aims

This paper will discuss the new trend of commercial law firms partnering with NGOs to bring constitutional migration and other public interest law cases.

This CLE is in light of cases like ROWE V ELECTORAL Comissioner, Plaintiff M61, and over at PIAC, suggestions of running joint class actions against the NSW police with Maurice Blackburn.

This discussion will overview case studies, successful or otherwise, and explore the effectiveness of these partnerships and various strategies for improving them.
