Aims

The Commercial Building Energy Disclosure Scheme ‘Mandatory Disclosure’ will come into effect on 1 November 2010. This seminar will explain who is affected by the legislation, what are the disclosure requirements and how the legislation will impact on sale and lease practice of commercial office buildings.

This seminar will also generally discuss the nature and use of green rating tools to rate a building performance and how these may used in the context of lease and development agreement covenants, and the issues parties and their lawyers need to consider in respect of green leases and the development and operation of sustainable or green buildings.
