Summary
In this video podcast Dr Alpana Roy (UTS) provides an overview of international intellectual property agreements. In particular, Dr Roy focuses on the TRIPS Agreement (Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights). She discusses the role of the UN Agencies, and considers some of the other major conventions relevant to international intellectual property agreements.
Trevor Stevens discusses the direct impact of international trade mark agreements on Australian Trade Mark law and practice. The presentation includes practical commentary on domestic aspects of trade mark law and practice, including registrability, infringement, rectification and non-use proceedings.
