Seminar overview:

Identifying and understanding client needs correctly is a really critical aspect of gaining and retaining clients. This workshop has been designed for solicitors who are looking to grow their business and deepen their relationship with clients. It has been designed to be highly hands-on and is based on practical scenarios and case studies relevant to the real world experience of the participants. It will help attendees with building skills to:

  • Listening and questioning
  • Becoming attuned to body language and tone
  • Uncovering and understanding underlying issues
  • Responding to emotion

About the presenter:

Duncan Young has been working with organisations for the past 15 years as an organisational development consultant, facilitator and executive coach. He has implemented training programs throughout Asia Pacific and Europe across a broad range of industries and clients from both the private and public sector. One of his great strengths is being able to work effortlessly at any level of an organisation from CEO to frontline staff.

Duncan is accredited in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, the L-Map Leadership Coaching Tool and the DISC Diagnostic System and has won numerous awards for his work. His credentials combine a diversity of education and training with practical experience. He has completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Drama and a Bachelor of Dramatic Arts at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA). He has worked as a professional actor since 1995 appearing in film, theatre and TV productions in Australia and Overseas.
